Title explanation

There are two possible takes on the title I chose for my blog. One is a take off of a rhyme used in the Army (or so I was told) but the remaining words are not appropriate to post. That they are in my memory is due to either my superior mental acuity or a result of a sin nature that continues to raise its ugly head from time to time. I will leave it at that...

The other possible take is a reference to the Wizard of Oz. I note simply that I am not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Not that I have ever resided in Kansas but I do believe I passed through on at least one occasion. I am also NOT in Pennsylvania anymore, which is both good and bad. Good because God wanted me here instead and it is always best to be where He wants me. And bad because I do miss family and friends who are still there.

Either way you look at this, I am indeed in Wyoming now and I even have a little cowboy guy sticker that will go on my car as soon as I clean a spot for it. And for the record, I am glad to be in Wyoming for the reason I noted above as well as the fact that I am truly enjoying exploring new places and meeting new people. The places have been beautiful and the people have been marvelous. I intend to STAY in Wyoming. Come visit me!

Blog envy

Every day I hear from my wife how my grown children are doing when she tells me about what they have posted on their respective blogs. (I do hope they are also respectful since that is one of the three rules you know) So today I decided that perhaps I should enter the fray and attempt to stay in touch myself as well. So here I am. In Wyoming. In my office. In my chair. In anticipation of finding out how my wife and daughters are doing. Once I see how this goes I will attempt to make a go of this whole blogging thing.
